Secondly, are there any non-preinstalled apps that use the S-pen that anyhone would recommend for downloading? I'm looking for new apps. I don't know whether carrier information would be relevant here, but I am a Verizon customer. For now, the range of Android phones that Comcast will accept is limited to unlocked Samsung devices, including the Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, S8, S8 Plus, Note 9 and Note 8. If you have a Samsung phone, occasionally your computer may fail to get an IP address (shows Limited Connectivity), if that happens try to turn on WiFi on the phone first and make sure it is disconnected from any existing WiFi network. Can anyone speak to this does FoxFi work with the Note II?. This is because the new version of FoxFi uses WPA2 instead of WPA and the computer side has a bad entry cached. In particular, a search of this forum showed some individuals saying it doesn't work with Jelly Bean, but then a Google search yielded results insinuating it can be used (in particular a droidforums thread which features 3-4 users all saying FoxFi works for them). I am using it now and it is working fine. I did not do it right the first time and had a problem.

But I've heard conflicting reports as to whether it works or not for the Note II. The dev said it would, anyone tried it yet Update - I just tried it and Foxfi works fine if you go to the settings and switch on the mobile hotspot as it asks you to do. Secondly, I'm (yet another individual) giving up my iPhone for the Note II.įirst, in regards to the app Foxfi, I was interested in downloading it for wireless tethering.
